Terms of Service

The deal, in plain language. These terms are also the license agreement (EULA) for the Animango mobile apps.

What Animango is

Animango generates manga — panels, lettering, and stories — from prompts you write, and hosts what you make so others can read it. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

Your account

You can create as a guest; signing in attaches your work to an account so it follows you across devices. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 (or the age your country requires) to use Animango.

Plans, panels, and billing

• Free. Your first 20 panels are free.
• Creator ($9.99/month). 100 panels each calendar month (UTC). New scenes and redraws both count toward the allowance.
• Creator Pro ($29.99/month). 350 panels each calendar month (UTC). Same rules.
• Creator Max ($59.99/month). 700 panels each calendar month (UTC). Same rules.
• Allowances reset on the 1st of each month (UTC)and unused panels don’t roll over. Upgrading takes effect immediately and bills you only the prorated difference for the rest of the cycle.
• Cancel anytime from the plan page(“Manage subscription”). Access continues through the end of the paid month; we don’t refund partial months, though if something went genuinely wrong, write to us and we’ll be reasonable.
• In the mobile apps, memberships are monthly auto-renewable subscriptions billed by the App Store or Google Play at the price shown at purchase. They renew automatically each month unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel them in your store account settings, and refunds are handled by the store under its terms.
• Prices and allowances can change; changes apply from your next billing cycle, never retroactively to a month you’ve paid for.

AI-generated content

Panels are generated by AI models. They can be wrong, weird, or different from what you pictured, and similar prompts can produce similar art for different people. A failed panel returns to your allowance; a panel you simply don’t like doesn’t. Redraws exist for exactly that.

Your manga

You own what you make, to the extent the law lets anyone own AI-assisted work. Publishing puts it on the public shelf: you grant Animango a non-exclusive license to host, display, and promote it in and around the service. Delete your work (or your account, at /delete-account) and that license ends with it.

Rules

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Objectionable content includes anything illegal, sexually explicit material, content that sexualizes minors, hateful or harassing content, graphic violence, threats, and content posted to demean a real person. Abusive behaviour includes harassing, threatening, or bullying other people through manga, comments, or direct messages.

Every manga, comment, profile and message carries a Report control, and every creator can be blocked — a block hides their work from your feed immediately. Reports go to a person, not a script. We review reports and act within 24 hours, removing the content and ejecting the account that posted it when it breaks these rules. Generated art is also screened before it is ever returned to a creator.

• No content that’s illegal, sexualizes minors, harasses real people, or floods the shelf with spam. We remove content and ban accounts that cross these lines, and we’ll tell you if it happens to yours.
• Don’t script, scrape, or otherwise automate the generation endpoints.
• Prompting with characters or art you don’t hold rights to is on you; respond to a rights-holder complaint at support@animango.comand we’ll follow the takedown process.

The service itself

Animango is provided as-is. We work to keep it up, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service, and our total liability for anything arising from these terms is capped at what you paid us in the last twelve months. We can change or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the service entirely, we’ll give you a reasonable window to export your manga.
